Leslee Haines Memorial Fund

Leslee Kenney Haines was a Milton Public School teacher and administrator for 35 years. Leslee died in May of 2002. Born in Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. She was raised in Chicago. She earned her bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and her master's degree from Lesley College. She taught at the Glover Elementary School and was appointed Milton's Elementary Math, Science and Technology Coordinator responsible for the curriculum in Milton's four elementary schools. Leslee was a member of several statewide professional organizations. Leslee dedicated her life to the Milton Public Schools, their students, teachers, and families. She loved math, science and technology and transferred her enthusiasm and knowledge to everyone she taught and worked with in Milton. Leslee was awarded several Milton Foundation for Education grants. The funds from these grants were used to enhance and enrich the curriculum. It is fitting that Leslee's sisters, Lee H. Radsch of New Jersey and Jamie Haines Tuck of Duxbury, decided to establish a memorial fund in her name with the Milton Foundation for Education. All funds will be used to enhance technology in Milton's new elementary school building project. Milton's students, teachers, administrators, and parents will always remember Leslee Haines' contributions to the Milton Public Schools.
